Ms. Evans began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York, prosecuting Domestic Violence and Sex Crimes cases. She had the opportunity to prosecute numerous misdemeanor and felony cases from arrest through trial. Following her tenure at the Bronx District Attorneys Office, Ms. Evans practiced law in New York for several years in the area of complex civil litigation. While in New York, Ms. Evans successfully represented clients at the trial level in both federal and state courts. Ms. Evans is a 1997 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and a 1994 graduate of Northwestern University. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
